4) in addition I learned that the ferret that is the fav humpee (and there is one, he bothers no other ferret), could possibly be giving off estrogen and be in the early stages of adrenal... and that is fascinating.
I doubt number four applies to me, you see the fav humpee has always
been the "omega" of the group if you will. He is a rescue, who has never quite "fit" in with other ferrets, and is extremely passive (abnormally so). But I'm still going to keep that in mind.

For whatever it's worth, my Duey (the humpee) was also extremely passive. He came to me June 1, 2002 along with his brother Benny (one of the humpers). Both estimated at 3 around years old. From the start Benny was a very active, playful Ferret while Duey preferred to be held and cuddled and for the most part would shy away from the others. Benny would bully him often and he would just take it, never even trying to fight back, not even when the mounting started. He would just lay flat out and take it. And although the rest of my crew never bullied him he was very submissive with them as well. Things seem to be changing now now though. Just over this past week Duey's actually started playing with the others, and even layed a good butt woopin' on Benny last night. I was actually taken aback to see him jump on Benny and roll him around....Benny was too.

My point, don't dismiss the idea. If it were me I'd have the Panel run your "omega".
