Hello everyone,
I'm a new ferret owner and have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have a rescued ferret who is blind and she's a wonderful pet. I am also a wildlife rehabber. I have recently got in a batch of 2-month old opossums. One of them has entritis. Can anyone tell me if ECE is a ferret-specific disease? Can entritis be passed from a opossum to a ferret? I am very careful with cleanliness and keep all wildlife away from family pets. I wash my hands thoroughly but usually don't change clothes after handling wildlife. If no one knows for sure, is there a way to contact Dr. Bruce Williams via e-mail to ask him?
