How was the diagnosis made? The only way to be sure of a diagnosis of lymphosarcoma is by biopsy, though there are other things which can be indicative. The things which can be indicative, though, sometimes can be caused by systemic infections. The result can be what seem to be spontaneous remissions to sometimes treatments that are given credit for "curing" what is not there.

How long a ferret lasts varies widely depending on a pile of factors from where the disease is present to the ferret's age, to the ferret's stamina, etc. We've had one go as long as 18 months on just Prednisone and have have others go just a few months on it.

What symptoms occur depend on where the disease sets up to large extent.

There are discussions in the archives of assorted more intensive approaches which are being tried or have been tried. Some work for small group of ferrets to give an actual remission. If you go to
