Not in rodentia class, at least not yet. Although all warm blooded
animals
can get rabies, only a few can transmit it. It is actually debatable
whether our
ferrets can transmit it, seems that they die before they actually can
transmit
it, but poor ferrets are labeled as dangerous, and potential to spread
the
disease anyhow. All dogs, cats and ferrets should be vaccinated,
especially if they go outside, but this year there were three cases where
a rabid raccoon broke into homes and attacked the animals.
I was thinking about the vaccine for myself after reading that.

Either way, this is a good link about rabies.

It is spread through infected animals bite, or any contact with the
saliva
of the infected animal. In my area, bats are a pretty big reservoir.
And
this year Raccoons made the list.
