Sorry to nitpick, but Rodentia and Carnivora are Orders, both subsets of
Class Mammalia, of which squirrels are in the subset sciuridae Family as SC
noted. Ferrets are Animalia/Chordata (vertebrata)/Mammalia/Carnivora/Weasel
(mustelidae)/*mustela furo*. (Sub-Phylum and sub-Family in parentheses).

In the Order Carnivora, large felids (leopards, lions, tigers) also get
canine distemper

I've never heard of CD in skunks, but raccoons and dogs (obviously) are

Wish I could help with the squirrel. Don't know much about them, though.
