I know this is OT but I'm hoping mods will allow it as a one-time post
since I originally posted to the group...
The squirrel I rescued and took to wildlife rehab on Sunday died last
night. I called yesterday evening and she seemed to be doing okay, but I
guess there was too much damage and her poor little body couldn't do its
job any longer. Anyway, I know I did the right thing and though I'm sad
she didn't make it, I'm glad she died in a nice warm, cozy place with food
and water and care instead of shivering and alone in someone's yard and
dying of dehydration or starvation.
