I know that the Idexx Snap heartworm test has shown effective in testing fo=
r heartworms for ferrets. However, I was curious if any other heartworm te=
sts (such as Heska's) are known to be effective?
My vet was using Heska's test last year for dogs and I am needing to test f=
or heartworms this year before we start preventative again (went off during=
the winter) so am curious if it is known to be effective in testing for fe=
rrets.
