Hi, my little guy Garrett appears to have gastric ulcers. Our vet has put him on Sucralfate and Cefadroxil. I see Cefadroxil is not listed as one of the drugs commonly given for this. He likes the taste and when he feels like eating, he co-operates with taking it eagerly. (one day he'll eat, the next day he'll grind his teeth and clamp his mouth shut and I have to fight to get every ml into him.)

I'm just a little worried that the Cefa drops won't fix the problem if it was caused by bacteria, and then he'll take even longer to recover, but my vet says it is a good choice.

Today has been one of his "bad" days and I suppose that is one of the reasons I'm feeling this way.
