i don't think they know about anything at this breeder. after i wrote the post i remembered that when i got Wish from them, he was infested with ear mites (even though the company guarantees them not to have any) and the only papers that came with him were proof of purchase and something stating that they had descented and neutered him.
so i pretty much answered my own question. i cannot believe that such a big company would have no knowledge about ECE, ADV and not be honest about ear mites.
this is not a company i will go through to ever purchase a ferret. i have decided, when im ready, Wish and i are going to adopt from the Toronto Ferret Aid Society.
is it just me, or is it absoulutely irresponsible for any breeder not to know about such diseases?
Do they know about ADV (Aleutian Disease
> Virus)?
