Hi,
My question is for a friend who doesn't have internet. Her 7 year old female Marshall Farms ferret has been on Lupron Injections for the past two years.
Spleen is typical for a ferret this age and everything is normal during vet check except the distended abdomen and just a feeling by the care taker that something isn't right.
Could the distended abdomen possibly be from the long term use of the Lupron?
Any help is appreciated. If any of the vets who have had experience with long term use of Lupron in ferret could consult with the attending vet please let me know.
