I am not a vet - but I do my own CD vaccinations. I purchase approximately
120-150 doses of Fervac every year - and every year I see about 2 reactions
to the vaccination. Last year with the Purevax added to the market, I
purchased 20 doses from my vet (Merial will not sell to anyone who is not a
vet). Out of those 20 shots, I had 2 reactions - but the scariest part is
that these reactions were seen long after the typical time - in one
particular case the reactions did not start for more than 2 hours!

Purevax costs twice as much as Fervac. In my extremely small test, had more
reactions than Fervac (2 out of 20, versus 2 out of 150). I believe that the
longer that Purevax stays on the market, the more reactions will be reported.

So I am sticking with Fervac. Just the opinion of a non professional.
