Responses to diazoxide vary. Some respond reasonably, some not well, some excellently. One of our's who recently passed did marvelously with it; for her it was a treasure.
If Prednisone isn't working has Prednisolone been tried? We have had one whose liver wasn't up to processing Prednisone all that well and for him the med may as well have been water for all that it did. Prednisolone worked marvelously for him, though.
