Zen has been on pred since early Jan and it did start out on a low dose, but
we've upped it already twice. He is currently taking .04 twice aday and
still crashing. He crashed twice this week. He foams at the mouth, shakes
his head, walks like a drunk and has that dazed and confused look. Our vet
doens't want to do surgery yet as she said that sometimes the tumors can be
too small to be removed. I'm so confused and concerned that I really don't
know what to do. He has had low sugar for sometime at the shelter, and now
that I have him, want to spend alot of time with him. He is a sweet non
biter that has had a rough life. The diazoxide has been ordered and will be
here on Monday. I'm glad to know we still have other options if it doesn't
work. Thanks so much.
