That sounds like there might be a uterine stump infection secondary to the adrenal growth.

Whether this one would change the surgery date would be something to ask the vet. You could call and leave a phone message asking for a call-back.

It may be that the vet will feel that it will be fine to wait but that you may need to use antibiotics, clean it with Xenodyne and water using a cotton swab, or both. The vet will have to decide after speaking with you to weight the possible level of infection.
