Please note, this is just an opinion based on other animals that I have
worked with for rehab.

When an animal is not passing urine, you need to look at the kidneys and the
prostrate on the males. When they cannot urinate, the urine and toxins back
up and build up in other systems. Teh heart and lungs can fill with fluids,
if the animal doesn't die for toxic shock. I would get my ferret to an
emergency vet to see if the bladder is full and to have it drained. Your
ferret could be adrenal and acudsing a prostrate blockage to teh uretha,
could be in renal failure, or could have pnemonia. The getting heavier and
not peeing make me think that the fluids are building up. Go to a vet, any
vet at this point, and get the fluids out....
