This ferret needs an emergency vet appointment. Neither of these are problems anyone can help with long distance; they require immediate hands-on veterinary care. I know that isn't always easy, having been in that spot -- and they often do choose 3 in the morning or a weekend to have a serious problem -- but either of these two things (serious coughing, not uirnating) alone warrants an emergency appointment.
