HI,
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
I adopted my third ferret just over four weeks ago. He had a cold at the beginning and a bit of a hacking cough. I took him to the vets last week as I thought I could see a small white lump on one side of his throat. The vet couldn't see it but gave him an antibiotic injection that would last for three days as his chest was a little bit rattly, to be on the safe sided.
He is eating well and playing and is quite lively.
However when he yawned today I could see the lump clearly and it seems to be bigger. It's not huge and not blocking his airways. He still sounds as if he is trying to clear his throat on occasions.
I have booked him in to see the vet again on Monday as I don't know what it could be and don't want to take any chances with him.
My other two ferrets had a bit of a cold but are fine now.
I would be really grateful for some help with this so that I may be able to make some suggections to the vet as to what it may be.
Thanks in advance. Tina
