I am so glad you pointed this out, that not all bilateral adrenal ferrets
need to be on meds. I have had three that did not continue their florinef
after five weeks of initial meds after surgery, and have been told by
many people that they need to be on them all their life....this is not what
my vet believes, as he feels in some cases it is neccesary...of course the
three that have not, were cryoed.

[ I I think that my point was misunderstood; I probably expressed myself
badly. Yes, there are ferrets who have had enough adrenal left to not
need meds, but so often unnecessary deaths have happened after
bilateral surgeries because needed meds were not provided. So often
folks do not realize what differentiates the ones who need meds from
