hi there, I have a 2 year old female, sable ferret named Tequila, and she a=
nd I have just spent the weekend at vet emerge. She had a nintendo button =
stuck in her digestive system, and we were about to do surgery, but opted f=
or the barium series of x-rays, after 12hrs in emerge, Tequilas xray showed=
that the blokage had moved through her and was now in the bowl. The vet le=
t us go home, and I have kept a sticked eye on her, and still have had some=
difficulties.. she wont eat the ad formula prescription food I bought from=
the vet (wet food), and she will attempt to eat her dry food, yet never is=
that succesful.. She is drinking lots, and sleeps all day and night.... in=
d you that she is normally a very hyper-active ferret, never willing to res=
t... so this is very odd to see. My question is, ever since I brought her =
home from the vet she has been rubbing her face on the ground non stop, and=
always pawing at her mouth.... I remember reading about this in "ferrets f=
o dummies", and it was a symptom of some sort... but I cannot remember what=
... coud you help me, by offering any advice would mean a great deal to me.=
thank you for your time and consideration Colleen
