Hi All,
I am new to this group and thank the lord it exists. My ferret had three episodes before I brought her to the vet. By episodes I mean, that when she tried to walk, she would fall over. her back legs just gave out on her. She also had a glazed look in her eyes and appeared to be lost. the episodes where short and brief and then she would be fine. this happened over a three month span.

after her third episode I rushed her to the vet. This is the part that I'm unsure about. He did a blood test and some ex-rays. her blood count came back 82 and he couldn't find anything(yet, his words)in the ex-rays. He did diagnosis her with insulinoma, and put her on presnisone. From the reasearch that I have done on the internet a blood count of 82 does not seem to be an issue, 70 would be an issue.

I'm not sure how accurate his dianosis is. If someone could share there own story and offer some advice Missy and I would sure appreciate it.

thanks friends
Lori
