I think she needs to be retested. You could probably test her two times in a row and not get the same reading. I would be very hesitant to fast a ferret suspected of being hypoglycemic. In my experience, if a ferret with insulinoma has eaten an hour or two before a test, the blood glucose will still test low.

Is she stressed out by a visit to the vet? I read somewhere that the stress of a vet visit can actually make the blood glucose go up, but it seems to me it has the opposite effect so I'm not sure what to believe in that regard.
