One of my little girls somehow managed to dislocate her knee. Have been to
the vets. X-ray taken to confirm that knee keeps slipping in and out of
socket. She's on prednisol syr 15/5 with complete cage rest (single level
cage) for 10 days. Took her out today (10th day) to see how she'd do and
she's as gimpy as she was when we took her to the vet. :o( When I took her
in, I asked about possibly setting the knee and "casting" her but vet said
ferrets don't tolerate well and she said they've never done knee surgery on a
ferret. By the way, when I let her out, she didn't slow down at all -- was
off to the races, but with a limp. Any ideas? Thanks.
