you may be seeing keratosis. It is a horny growth of the skin, some being pink and some a hard yellowish off-white. I don't know what current thought on these is. Years back it was thought that too little zinc may be causing it and ones with the problem were given Efa-Z in small amounts just in case. The one individual we had with pronounced ones also at that time had lymphoma which had set up in his adrenals. I don't find these growths mentioned in any of the vet texts i have here.

There are other types of growths that can happen on feet which have been mentioned in the past and will be in the archives but i have no experience with them and can not off-hand recall details.

Has the vet sampled them?
