Does z/d for canines have enough taurine or the right nutrient blend for ferrets? Dog foods tend not to fill these needs. We have used their Feline z/d with good results, and it would have a better nutrient balance and taurine. In the z/ds there is enough breakdown to keep potential allergans to a minimum.
There also are some mutton based cats foods out there for those with poultry allergies which others have mentioned at times. I think that one is that with peas for the starch to bind the kibble, for instance.
