My albino girl has a broken hind leg, which was broken and had
already healed in two pieces before she was brought to the shelter I
got her from. It doesn't seem to slow her down either, like your
limping one. She can't jump like the other two, and doesn't run as
fast, but it doesn't cause her any pain or really slow her down much.
She still climbs up on the back of the couch when she wants to, and
chases our feet from one end of the house to the other...

We could have it operated on and pinned, etc., and hope she healed up
to full use, but it doesn't seem worth the trauma of surgery since it
doesn't seem to bother her. Which is what I'd be inclined to say
about your girl.

If she's running around with as much enthusiasm as normal, and not
showing any signs of pain, why put her through the trauma of surgery?
Personally, I'd say the risks associated with anaesthesia are worse
than having an otherwise happy ferret with a limp. :-)
