Subject: Insulinoma guestion

I took my 5 year old MF female to the vet yesterday for distemper vac. I asked the vet to go ahead and test her blood glucose level. On the vets meter it was 77(4hours fasting). I asked her if this was low, she (the vet) said it was on the low side but nothing to worry about. The vet said to bring her back in six weeks to be tested again. She also said to feed her brewer's yeast.
The ferret has never shown any symptoms of insulinoma, but her BG level was 126 in January (from a full blood test). Today she is very lethargic. The vet said it was from the Purevac injection. I took her BG on my machine today (4 hours fast) and it was up to 86.
My guestion is; is this something that I should react to more quickly to or do a wait and see like the vet said.

Thanx,
KC
