First, rapidly tackle the ulcers with as little stress as possible. That typically means using prescription Carafate or Sulfracate (sp?) which the vet will prescribe. This now comes in the liquid version which is available at any pharmacy. You've already been told what can be done till you get anappointment though it is not enjoyed by them. (I have heard of folks using the tablet Pepto to reduce stress but don't know the dosing for that) . When the ulcer is enough under control to treat for Helicobacter do think about the less stressful approaches like Biaxin and Amoxi.
