When my ferret Amelia was diagnosed with insulinoma (which is a type
of
cancer occuring in the pancreas), her blood glucose was shockingly low
for
her level of activity--her glucose was in the low 30s, but she was still
pretty active. According to my vet, some ferrets just seem to be less
affected by low blood glucose, or the condition has crept up gradually
enough that they've somehow been able to compensate. Vomiting can
be a sign
of nausea, which could be another indicator of insulinoma.

Also, a ferret will often perk up at the vet's office just because it's a
new place with loads of sensory input, so the activity level seen at the
vet's can be a little misleading. How you're seeing her at home would
be
the best indicator of her true activity levels.
