I had one male ferret, a honey sable, that lived to be 17.5. BUT, that was
contingent on the person's who gave him to me figures. It could vary
downward by about 3 years.

So at least, my ferrets are not the only one's who live a long time. Is it
not possible that, a truly healthy bloodline, and well cared for ferret's
NORMAL lifespan's be between 10 and 15 years of age. And if it is, then why
has the life span of a lot of ferrets, been dropping?

I have not been breeding for longevity, but for, temperament. It seems to
be working. Either that, or they're so nice because of good, loving,
healthful treatment as kits.
