Fill a bathtub part way up with wamr enough water that the ferret won't feel chilly and help support his body. The warmth also helped relax his leg for range of motion exercises where we helped Spot move his leg. He had never liked water before and he did not at first when he kept rolling to one side (hense extra need for support) after his brain damage from the thrown clot (thrombosis) BUT when he began to be be able to move more over time he loved being in there -- we think because he was so much more capable in the water -- until he bagan moving well well on dry land, too.
