vets/ferret owners,

Last week my ferret, littewhitegirl, had a nasal scope with biopsy, mucus swab and nasal flush.
the biopsy came back negative (great news!) and the swab showed PSEUDOMONUS bacteria. We are going to treat with orbax but I am trying to find out how she could have gotten this. Where is it carried/etc, did I do something wrong?

She was also diagnosed with Chronic Active Lymphoplasmacytic rhinitis. I understand this to be a chronic inflamation of the white blood cells. I was wondering what other info you have on this disease. The person at the lab said that they have never seen this before in ferrets and it is more commonly seen in cats and dogs.

I was wondering if any ferret owners have experienced this and if they have, could you write and help me out?

If there are any vets with knowledge on this diease and how to treat it along with what I can do to make her life easier, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks,
Meg
