Hi Alicia,
Some organs have calcification because advanced age. (I can't
remember the age of this animal). It's normal and in the most of cases it
doesn't influence in its function. It's very, very, rare a calcificated tumor.
You're right: adrenal gland is very small, but you know where is its
normal place. When you look to this place and don't see anything, you
can say adrenal gland is normal, in its color, size, texture, etc.
Can you understand? I think my english is too bad!
