Hi,

Just have a few questions about Max. Once in a while, I will find Max with a
wet, foamy mouth. The first time he did this, I got up in the middle of the
night and had seen places on the carpet of a foamy saliva. I saw Max
vomiting and coming toward me, picked him up & saw his mouth wet & foamy. I
gave him some metamusil, fed him some chicken baby food and he seemed ok.

He was ok for several weeks and then it started again. This then seemed to
be happening more frequent. I had then started routinely giving him 1/4
pepcid AC in the mornings and continuing on with the Chicken baby food. in
the mornings and his normal kibble the rest of the day. I had done this
faithfully for 2 weeks and no "foam". Then decided to try without any Pepcid
AC and 3 days later the foam was back. Was wondering if this could be an
acid reflux...or what else? He seems to be very healthy otherwise. Playful
and active. His spleen has been very, very slightly enlarged for a couple of
years now. Max is around 5 years old.

Any suggestions or help? I called our vet and she said it might be
Insulinoma. It just seems weird that it seems to stop with the Pepcid AC.

Thanks for your help.
