shed some light on Bandits situation...or suggestions for treating an ulcer=

*this is my second post, and would appreciate any feedback...
Bandit's getting worse, raised the pred to .75 (2x) a day, he still sleeps
all the time, constantly chomps- grinds am giving 1.00ml pepcid not doing a=
thing.=A0 He's so heavy, he can't even clean himself properly, when he pees=
, I
have to clean his belly off and he always lets out a little moan when
going,,I don't know if it's when he does #1 and #2 or just pee pee.=A0 Anyw=
ay,
he's got accumulated fat under his armpits and in his abdomen- his cataract=
s
are so bad, it makes me sad when I see a cloud of film over his eyes...even=
when we take him outside he just plopps down or bobs the head slightly and
looks a little dazed.=A0 My vet doesn't feel it's time for the Diaxide (sp)=
??
yet- his most recent BG was (58-60) and I would like to share his blood
values that were high or low with our vets on-line to see if I should be
concerned.
Glucose (sent out)- 35=A0 (in house) 58-60
Total Protein - 7.1 (high)
globulin- 3.6 (high)
Calcium-9.9 (high)
HGB- 19.1 (high)
HCT- 59.3 ( high)
Neutrophil Seg- 85 (high)
Lymphocytes- 9 (low)
Monocytes- 4 (high)
Bandit is only about 7 years old.. and I want to keep him with me as long a=

I can, any suggestions to increase my little guy's quality of life, would b=

improvement what so ever, do you have any suggestions so he's not in such =
discomfort?? He's on babyfood so it's a pretty bland diet, but I don't know=

what else to do, please help.
