Subject: Does anyone medicate post surgery?

I have gotten different views on this subject. Should we be giving Amoxy post op for possibility of infection or is that only given if there are signs of infection? I have had comments on both sides. If anyone has the correct answer please let me know. Does anyone know what Dr. Williams does post surgery? Any light shed to this situation would be appreciated. Thanks
