Meesha had his adrenal surgery today.

On Monday morning, we took him to the doctor's and she noticed a large mass on his right side. She did his surgery today, and that large mass was the adrenal mass wrapped around the vena cava. She said he was doing fine post surgery, but needs to be watched. Since I am at school and cannot have pets on the premesis, I was not able to pick him up until friday around noon anyway. They were able to take out all of the mass, but needs to be watched especially for a blood clot and his blood pressure needs to be monitored the next few days. But he seemed to be doing fine in recovery, the doctor said.

Just wanted to share some good news with folks. The doctor said she is glad we decided on the surgery, because if we waited any longer the adrenal mass could have cut off his blood supply to his organs.
