My ferret, Sprout was just operated on for adrenal problems as well as
insulinoma.
He was sent home on Flagyl (0.60cc, 1 time daily- thankfully! );
Amoxi-drops (0.70cc, 2 times daily); and Pepto Bismol (0.40 cc, 2 times
daily) for 21 days. My vet told me the 21 day regimen seems to work
best, although 14 days might be satisfactory, if the owner simply can't
handle the 21 days.
Sprout is a big guy, and is doing very well.
