"I was very surprised to learn that it may be virally
transmitted between ferrets. Has anyone on this list actually seen this
happen?"

I recently lost my ferret, Ceasar, to lymphoma. He lived with his roomie,
Lily. I saw no real purpose in seperating them since they had lived with
each other for 3 years before his diagnosis and figured he had it before
diagnosis and would have transmitted it already anyway.
I am curious about the same thing and interested to hear the responses since
Lily is now living with Pandora and will be soon exposed to two new ferret
rescues I got a week after Ceasar's passing.
