My vet and I are approaching uncharted territory with Diana, my ferret on
chemotherapy. She has been on chemo (now bouncing between
cyclophosphamide
and vincristine every 5 weeks). When do we stop chemo? What about
the
prednisolone - currently she is on 1/4 of a 5mg tablet once daily.

Her white counts are in the low to normal ranges. Her lymphocyte
counts have
never been high, so that doesn't appear to be an issue. Her attitude is
great
and so is her energy level.

Have any of the vets or others on this list dealt with a ferret on
chemotherapy this
long (15 months)? What should I expect? Should we be discontinuing or
cutting
back on the pred? Thanks!
