Well, I've been told that I make a pretty good Dr. Williams at time, and I've got to agree with Pam on this point. Her source is correct.

If this tumor was completely removed, no followup treatment is necessary. I'd watch closely for regrowth, but I don't think a specialist is required unless there is regrowth, and there is no need to take the toe off here.

Just because something is malignant doesn't generally mean life-threatening. Hemangiosarcomas in the skin grow slowly, and don't go much of anywhere. I haven't met one yet that wasn't cured with complete excision.
