HI April-
We had a boy lie that several years ago - his coat did soften up but it was
at about 3 years of age and after he was NEUTERED!
Is this an early alter? or a late alter ferret?
It is possible the condition is hormonal in nature-- I doubt if anyone has
done studies on this though!
