Subject: update on tiny scabs/pussy bumps

hey guys~
I really appreciate all the helpful e-mails i have gotten from everyone. And
as you might have guessed they all had a different idea, which was exactly
what i was looking for.
Well i went to the vet yesterday afternoon, and after a very thorough exam
was told that due to the Tresaderm(probably) it was hard to tell if it is
something temporary or if the medication is just covering up the underlying
problem. He did check for ear mites and examined him from head to two as i
showed him the bumps that I was familiar with. His ear mite check came back
negative, his temperature was normal, he used a blacklight to check out the
possiblity of ring worm but that too didn't show anything and he did a urine
strip test (after the temperature taking of course since it was fresh and
ready, at which point he also told me his stools looked to be healthy). That
also showed that everything in his urine was within the normal ranges. I had
brought in a stool sample but he told me that he would rather wait on that and
do it if they flare up again. In his opinion what ever it was it is on its way
out, at least for now. He told me to discontinue my use of the Tresaderm to
make sure it is not covering anything up. He didn't do a skin scrapping
because honestly most of the have almost healed completely. The scabs remain
because they are stuck to his fur. I am planning on waiting a few days to make
sure new ones don't appear before giving him another bath to get them off so i
can have a better look underneath.
His attitude hasn't changed very much throughout all of this, he has remained
sweet and active as always. And his appetite has remained normal as well. So
hopefully it was just a reaction to something and it doesn't come back.
Thanks for all of your help. I will definitely keep in touch.
