Subject: Insulinoma and adrenal disease

Well it may depend. If he is just not active because his blood sugars
are low, then perhaps uping the prednisone dose, increasing his meals
with supplements ( I like to add meat baby food to the daily intake)
And even considering proglycem.

However, at 9, he has lived a nice long life, so if it is not so easy
to fix, like not just a low blood sugar that responds to the change
of meds, and he is no longer interested in life, it may be time.
A good vet check to see if anything else is going on, see if he
appears anemic or palpable mass on exam,etc. and checking
the blood glucose to see where he is at.

For the adrenal disease, since you don't mention any treatment for
it, adding something like melatonin, or getting him a shot of
lupron may buy him some more time.

There really is no right answer.
