Well, first off most adrenal growths are not malignant, not cancer.

There are some excellent past posts on this, with a marvelous one
from Dr. Bruce Williams who is a veterinary pathologist. On the
homepage of the Ferret Health List click on the bold print that
refers to the complete archives to get to where you can easily look
this up or go directly to
http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org/browse.php?msg=YG6502 to read a sample.

In a situation like this there still may be an adrenal growth and it
may be that surgery or Lupron is still best for this ferret depending
on the individual's specifics. A Tennessee Panel test may be useful,
and I think that you will want to read past posts on adrenal growths,
and also to read a a number of the excellent write-ups which can be
found through links in the FHL, in the critical references at
http://www.ferretcongress.org, and elsewhere.
