Yesterday, I adopted two female ferrets (to go with mine) from my about to divorce parents. The one I'm worried about is very thin. My father told me she recently lost all her hair but has since regrown it. She is not active and walks as if she is in pain. What I'm most concerned about is her private parts (I'm sorry - I don't know the technical term) It is very swollen - as if in heat - but she is fixed. I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow, but if anyone has been through this I would love some advice. I hate to see a fuzzy in pain.
