Assuming it's OK to crush the pill and dissolve it in water (not everything is), you could mix one, 1 mg pill into 10 ml of water. Then you'd have a solution that would give you 1 mg per 10 ml or your target dose, 0.1 mg per ml. That's just the math of it, I don't know how well this will work. Some things don't easily dissolve and in fact may settle out, and if this is the case with this one, make sure you shake it like crazy just before pulling out the 1 ml.

When it's time to go to 0.1mg, it might be easier to switch to using the 5mg Proscar. Crush and mix two of those into 10ml of liquid and then you'd only have to give your little one 0.1 ml of liquid instead of 1 ml.

Check with your vet or pharmacist to see if this method is an acceptable option. Ferretone is a possible liquid to use too, if acceptable by your vet/pharmacist.
