Then, with all due respect, that vet doesn't know ferrets despite the
assurances. Ear mites are common. If he or she doesn't know about
common conditions, how will they deal with uncommon ones?

I cannot comment on this mdeication, but I know that the vets in this
area use Trasederm (sp?) /Ivermectin to treat ear mites.
