I know I've read on the list before about ferrets who've responded to massa=
ge, and those who use the little go-carts, and I'm hoping I can get some ad=
vice. I have a friend who has a female ferret, approx. 3 months old, that s=
he got from a pet store. The ferret has periodically had balance problems s=
ince they've had her, but just this week has become unable to use her body.=
She's not really paralyzed in the true sense, because when she needs to us=
e the litter box, her back arches and her tail goes up, so she can feel the=
sensation of needing to go. But she cannot stand, walk or even hold hersel=
f up long enough to eat.

She's had bloodwork and X-rays done and everything came back clean as a whi=
stle. Has anyone else experienced this before? The vet is stumped, and my f=
riend is afraid she's going to lose her little girl. Please help.

Thanks!
Amy
