This doesn't really have anything to do with your particular friend's situa=
tion, but as an FYI, our labwork on ferrets from the Avian and Exotics lab =
consistently comes back as showing high calcium levels in pretty much every=
ferret we've ever had a full blood panel (superchecm/CBC) done on. It see=
ms to be an artifact or something with the way they interpret calcium level=
s in ferrets-it comes back that way on sick ferrets, healthy ones, doesn't =
matter what. I don't know how accurate their calcium-specific testing woul=
d be then.
