Subject: Big Tummy?

We just bought what appears to be an eight week old kit. He has his
permanent fangs. Anyway he was in a very small, one level cage alone. He has
what appears to me as pretty large belly. Its not pear shaped like Jubilee
was when I got her who later got JL. It's hard to describe, its just mushy,
round and large. lol. He seems to eat all the time. And his muscles are
lax. I"m thinking/hoping that this is all just from sitting in a tiny cage
all alone and board. I'm hoping the lack of moving and the eating all the
time has done this. As far as his feces, they are huge and healthy! He
looks and acts perfect. I"m brining him to a vet in a week or so to get the
rest of his distemper shots. When I go in, should I ask the vet to look into
anything specific to make sure this is not something else? What should she
consider?
